All diagnoses and treatment decisions, including whether medication is prescribed, are made by a licensed healthcare provider following a comprehensive clinical evaluation.
If medication is prescribed, prescriptions may be filled at your local pharmacy or delivered to your home through AddyRx, our in-house pharmacy network. When filled through AddyRx, the cost of medication is included in your membership. If you choose to use an external pharmacy, medication costs may be billed separately by that pharmacy.
Providers on the Addy Meds platform may prescribe Benzphetamine when it is determined to be clinically appropriate following a comprehensive evaluation.
Benzphetamine is a stimulant medication that is pharmacologically similar to other commonly known ADHD medications such as Adderall® (amphetamine/dextroamphetamine) and Vyvanse® (lisdexamfetamine). While Benzphetamine is FDA-approved for the treatment of obesity, licensed healthcare providers may prescribe it off-label for other conditions, including ADHD, when they believe it is medically appropriate for an individual patient.
All prescribing decisions are made by independent, licensed healthcare providers based on medical history, symptoms, and applicable state and federal regulations. Medication is never guaranteed and is prescribed only when clinically indicated.
